Give every surf lesson a next step.
A coach can record what a student worked on after a lesson. The student sees that history in their Surf Passport, and the school can use it to plan the next session.
Start a school trialFrom lesson to progress record
- Book and assign. A student books a lesson; the manager sees it in the school calendar and assigns a coach.
- Teach and confirm. The coach sees their assigned session in their view and confirms the lesson.
- Record what happened. After the session, the coach logs the student's progress. These entries are instructor-recorded, rather than self-reported skill claims.
- Keep the history. The student can see their progress and upcoming lessons in the student app. The school can see the record when planning another lesson.
A progress entry documents coaching; it does not certify a student's ability or replace an instructor's judgment in the water.
Why the record helps a school
Continuity between coaches
When the next lesson is assigned, the school has a record of what the student worked on previously instead of relying on a message thread.
A useful student view
Students can return to their Surf Passport, see their history, and book again through the school's booking flow.
Lessons and packages together
Managers can track bookings and lesson packages in the same system that holds the coach and student workflow.
What the coach sees
Coaches join their school through an invite, see assigned lessons, confirm sessions and log progress from their own view. The manager keeps control of the school's bookings, payments and coach assignments. Explore instructor management.
Progress is part of the operating day
SurfSchool also puts the day's modeled conditions near bookings through AYON Wave · Wave Intelligence. Conditions help a school plan; instructors decide what is appropriate for each student at the beach.
